Overall a profit Converting everything to gold currency on the server 1.9/food, 4.5/lumber, 4.2/iron, .06/stone its a whopping 683,000 gold pieces. Its more profitable when food prices are higher or the other commodities are lower or great when both in in opposing directions. But the whopping 425,544 xp you get helps you work up your hero and the marginal profit pays for the endeavor. Also you save a little, since your are feedind the dead guys while you queue up the replacements. (Assuming you want to replace the 24k wars, this is NOT anywhere near profit. It 2.4m lumber to create 24k wars, so your losing tons even before you add in the iron and food lost.)
