From Evony Wiki - iEvony, NPCs

Introduction

Losses when attacking a NPC are purely based on the Attacker Hero level & attack as well NPC's Hero Level. It is also based on your archery researhc level and horseback riding research level. You can farm a lvl4 npc with 175 ballistas. 220 transporters and a research levels of Horseback riding lvl5 and Archery level 8. I am in servesr 75 and 90 username on 75 is Blaze2.0 username on 90 is Blazed. If you want you can contact me on those servers and I can show you some of my battle reports. 65 vs 10 49 vs 38 Hero in the NPC changes on every scouting you perform & stops changing once you do attack & untill it replenish full.
